Meet Your Host

I love nature. I travel the world to experience it in all its wonder. I enjoy meeting people from every walk of life, all over our beautiful planet. During a trip to the Greek Isles I experienced my first Airbnb. I was astounded at the convenience and comfort of "home sharing." When I returned home to the cabin I built to be closer to friends and family, I decided to list it on Airbnb, I called it Cabin on the Ridge.

As my passion for Airbnb continued to grow, we decided to expand into the the town of Madison, where you will find the Artist's A-Frame. My Mom (Linda) and I both  host the A-Frame together. The Artist’s A-Frame was constructed by my grandparents. My grandmother,  Mary is the artist referenced in the home's title. You'll find her paintings throughout the home.

Inspired by the response and love for the cabin and the a-frame I

began thinking of ways to expand the unique home experience.  During a trip to Norway the tall slender houses lining hillsides with their high peaks and large windows manifested the idea for Cabin on the Ridge: The Sequel, a contemporary cabin.

If you're looking for a secluded getaway, this is it. What a beautiful cabin. And the location - it's so quiet! All you hear is birds and the occasional clop of an Amish buggy. We'll be back.

Patrick, Cabin on the Ridge:

The Sequel

I've stayed at a lot of AirBnB's and nothing compares to the amenities, cleanliness or beauty of Matt's place! We will definitely stay again!
I original booked just one night but we loved it so much we added another night!
Can't say enough great things about this place!
You should definitely stay here

Heather, Cabin on the Ridge

I feel lucky to have been able to stay at this Airbnb. We felt as if we were in a special hideaway. The personal touches were sweet and unexpected. We enjoyed the electric fireplace, local coffee, family artwork and a well stocked home. It was a perfect place to rest and relax after a day of hiking. The atmosphere of the town was delightful, and we enjoyed the dining, and winery as well.
